Every child is special in their own ways. Unfortunately, our society has evolved in such a manner that, schools have been turned to factories, where children are restricted as products, produced without logic. These products are generally categorised as Good, Average and Bad, thus deciding their future. This has been going on in our society since long and might continue till the time, our society realizes the need for a change.

While the factories continue to produce products, labelling them as Good, Average and Bad, there are few who have gone beyond the factory standards and excelled in their career. Such are the ones who bring a positive change in the society.

Meet Diana Paul, an Engineer and an MBA, who is changing lives and spreading smiles across our society. Miss Diana Paul is a B.Tech (Industrial Biotechnology) and has done her MBA (HR, Finance and Banking).

Port Blair, Oct. 3: The Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kudleep Rai Sharma has requested the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands to increase fund allocation for the Department of Youth Affairs to help enhance Youth Infrastructure in these Islands.

In a letter addressed to the Lt. Governor, the Member of Parliament said that investing in the youth infrastructure of these Islands is vital to ensure that our young population not only remains physically and mentally fit but also excels in national and international level sporting events.

Port Blair, Oct. 3: ICAR- Central Island Agricultural Research Institute, Port Blair receives patent for an invention entitled “Novel acaricide compositions for veterinary topical applications and the method of preparation thereof’’ under Patents Act, 1970 (Patent No: 455756) on 29th September, 2023. The invention is a process for developing oil based herbal topical formulation as an acaricide to treat tick infestation in livestock.

Port Blair, Oct 3: CITU, A&N State Committee has organized a Seminar today at Port Blair in connection with the International Action Day, call for which was given by the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU).  This year’s theme for the International Action Day was “Work with Rights, No to Flexibilities and No to Exploitation.”  D. Ayyappan, Vice President, CITU State Committee, who was the main speaker, dealt in brief various problems confronted by the working class all over the world in general and those in India in particular. 

Port Blair, Oct. 3: Shri. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Committee Member, BJP & Former State President BJP-ANI, wrote a letter to Chief Secretary, A&N Administration for making immediate alternative arrangements for operationalizing Ferry Boats to travel between Long Island and Yeratta

In his letter he wrote that on the basis of a WARNING NOTICE for immediate stoppage of operations, dated 21st September 2023 issued by Port Management Board, all the shipping and other activities has been stopped at Yerratta Jetty with immediate effect.
